TikTok Unveils New Advertising Tools to Boost Brand Growth

Recently, TikTok announced the launch of new advertising solutions and performance tools designed to help brands increase engagement on the platform and drive business results.

 

The newly introduced performance tools will be rolled out globally this week, including an automated tool called Smart+. This tool automates various ad processes, such as brand targeting, bidding, and creative design. Advertisers simply need to input their assets, budgets, and targeting goals into TikTok Symphony, the platform’s creative AI tool. Smart+ will then intelligently select or create the best ad settings to reach the target audience at the optimal time.

Smart+ offers three main campaign goals: boosting brand traffic while reducing ad management complexity, driving app installs and conversions, and turning potential leads into high-value customers. TikTok also provides manual control options to ensure advertisers have full control over campaign management and optimization, along with transparency in data reporting.

 

New Advertising Product: Out of Phone: Retail

To further enhance its advertising solutions, TikTok introduced a new global product, "Out of Phone: Retail", on October 9. This allows brands and sellers to showcase TikTok’s organic and branded content within physical stores, bridging the gap between online interactions and in-store purchases.

 

Advanced Conversion Measurement

TikTok’s new features also include enhanced conversion measurement tools designed to assess the real impact of TikTok ads on sales. These updates come with advanced privacy technology to ensure user data protection while collecting first-party data.

 

GMV Max – New for TikTok Shop Sellers

Additionally, TikTok unveiled GMV Max at TikTok World, a new automated marketing optimization solution tailored for TikTok Shop sellers. This is the first solution optimized across all shoppable placements on TikTok, including the "For You" page, the Shopping Tab, and Search. It automatically creates ads, brand targeting, bidding, and more, aimed at helping sellers maximize their Gross Merchandise Value (GMV).
