Release time:2024-09-26 15:02
On September 23, TikTok announced the launch of its redesigned paid subscription service for creators, with plans to roll it out to more markets in the coming weeks.
This service is currently being offered to eligible creators in select regions, including the U.S., France, Germany, Spain, the U.K., Indonesia, Italy, Japan, and South Korea. This expansion will allow non-live creators to offer exclusive content and other benefits to their paying subscribers.
Customizable Subscription Packages Creators can tailor their monthly subscription plans, offering three different tiers to reflect their personal style and community needs:
1. Private Messaging Channels: Access to various communication channels, including subspaces, chats, comments, and messages, for direct interaction with subscribers.
2. Exclusive Content: Special videos, live streams, and notes that only subscribers can view.
3. Community Identifiers: Unique stickers and badges used during live streams, appearing next to subscribers' names in their profiles and comments, signifying their special community identity.
4. Custom Benefits: TikTok also offers existing perks like performance requests, shout-outs, and live stream themes, or creators can design custom benefits specifically for their community.
To qualify for the subscription feature, creators must be at least 18 years old, maintain a good account standing, and have a minimum of 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the past month, or meet specific live stream eligibility requirements.
