According to Amazon, this move will provide French businesses and brands with a unique international showcase, helping them expand into key European countries, reach new customers, and broaden market coverage. This aligns with Amazon’s goal of helping French SMEs thrive and succeed. Over the past year, more than 16,000 French SMEs have been active on Amazon, selling over 100 million products, a 5% year-over-year increase.

Fabien Pons, Director of the Amazon.fr marketplace, stated that Amazon’s ability to help French businesses enter new international markets is driven by continuously optimized logistics solutions and services like Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), which are utilized by over 8,500 companies. Currently, more than 80% of French businesses engage in export activities, generating over 900 million euros in sales—a growth of more than 15% within a year. Looking forward, Amazon plans to continue innovating to ensure that French businesses can fully realize their potential both domestically and internationally.
