Recently, according to foreign media reports, DHL announced that it will increase global service prices starting from January 1, 2025. The rate of adjustment will vary by country.

According to the announcement, starting January 1, 2025, general express prices for U.S. DHL account holders will rise by an average of 5.9%, with adjustments also being made to some services and surcharges. In other countries, price increases vary: India and the Philippines will see increases of 6.9% and 5.9%, respectively, while Malta and Australia will experience a 4.9% rise. DHL stated that these adjustments are aimed at addressing changes in the global logistics market and rising costs.

RS Subramanian, Senior Vice President of DHL Express South Asia, pointed out that despite ongoing challenges from geopolitical dynamics and supply chain disruptions, DHL remains committed to providing stable and reliable services globally. He emphasized that through its annual price adjustments, DHL can continue investing in its logistics network, enhancing resilience and adaptability to ensure ongoing support for customers' business needs in any external environment.

It is understood that DHL adjusts its prices annually based on inflation, currency dynamics, and administrative costs related to regulatory and security measures. Its services cover over 220 countries and regions, with price adjustments varying depending on specific country conditions.
