In the past year, Amazon successfully fulfilled over 1 billion "same-day or next-day" deliveries for its Prime members in the UK. Globally, Amazon achieved a remarkable milestone, delivering over 9 billion items on the same day of the order.

According to statistics, UK Prime members saved nearly £200 (around €239) through fast delivery services, more than double the cost of the £95 (approximately €113.5) annual Prime membership fee.

Since its launch over a decade ago, Amazon's same-day delivery service has expanded to 81 towns and cities across the UK. Now, Prime members can choose from "millions of items" for same-day delivery, covering a wide range of categories such as everyday essentials, household goods, health and beauty products, baby food, and pet supplies. However, for orders under £20, an additional fee will be charged for same-day delivery.

In addition to home delivery services, Amazon also offers free pickup point services for eligible items. Consumers can select from self-service lockers or staffed pickup points. There are currently over 25,000 pickup points across the UK, providing customers with a convenient way to collect their orders.
